The Lack of Minecraft Exemplifies all that is Wrong with the Wii U

<br>Having been introduced to the world of Dragon Quest when Nintendo Power included the NES copy of Dragon Warrior with a subscription, it should surprise no one that one of the upcoming games I am anticipating is Dragon Quest Builders. Taking gameplay elements from Minecraft and mixing them with story driven adventure led to the creation of a unique experience within the world of Dragon Quest. After spending some time playing the demo, I sat down with producer Noriyoshi Fujimoto to discuss the upcoming game. In addition to learning about Dragon Quest Builders, I also learned that Mr. Fujimoto and I share a common love of inflicting unspeakable horrors unto The Sims.<br><br> <br>A Block Swapper does what it says on the tin: it swaps blocks out for other ones. A use for this could be in a base, to save space. If players have a small starting base, then they can use a Block Swapper to change from a Crafting Table to a Furnace to an Anvil as nee<br><br>(eyes widen and laughs) I was a big fan of The Sims and also did terrible things to them. (We go off on a tangent discussing the terrible atrocities we committed on our Sims, none of which is fit to print here)<br><br>Minecraft: Story Mode strays from the more mature content that Telltale normally associates themselves with and manages to create a fun, family-friendly world for one with no real story. The episode is expertly done and gives players a perfect standalone game to the critically acclaimed game from Mojang. With the new lore introduced in the first episode, it’s hard to believe what other new content will be available to us in the coming episodes. By focusing on a new concept that strays from their normally mature games, this episode paves the way for what is hopefully a great series from a great developer.<br><br>Chicken Jockey Minecraft on the Wii U is not the answer to all of the system’s problems. What it would be, though, is an almost guaranteed financial success that would serve as a loud and clear symbol that Nintendo is not only aware of the complaints against it, but are ready to start taking actions to remedy them. Instead, its continued absence serves as yet another cause for fans to invoke a phrase that’s becoming all too common, and increasingly disheartening:<br><br>Minecraft: Story Mode — Episode 2: Assembly Required doesn’t meet the bar that the previous episode set, but that doesn’t rule it out as awful. The fact that it relies on environments to cover the fact that there’s really nothing to do/talk about gives reason as to why forked paths are rarely done in games. There are no new innovations and because of that, the story should be a little stronger, but instead stumbles. Hopefully, with the potential that the series holds, the following episode will focus more on Jessie and give players a much wider variety of things to do, decide and explore.<br><br>While you don’t get to explore the world, you are given the chance to look around in order to find clues that lead to the next event. The episode doesn’t stray at all from the original and even gives you the opportunity to fight zombies and craft items to make you feel more at home, feeling a little bit like a tribute. As stated before, you don’t have to have prior knowledge of the game in order to enjoy this but some you should have some prior knowledge to understand the terminology and some of the jokes. ‘Ender Dragon’ and ‘Wither’ are not really words that everyone has in their everyday vocabulary but knowing about them will give you better understanding of why they’re bad and why the situation that Jesse and his friends are in is bad.<br><br>The Wii U is in bad shape. While that’s clear from the system’s sales figures , which were a major contributor to Nintendo president Saturo Iwata recently deciding to cut his salary in half , the issues surrounding Nintendo’s flagship system are much greater in truth than just some slumping sales.<br><br>No the real problem with the Wii U is its presence. It’s not a system that many people feel an urge to have no matter what. That’s a problem that’s only been exasperated since the release of the PS4 and Xbox One. While both those systems are more expensive than the Wii U, their expanded entertainment offerings, obvious technical superiority and greater variety of games available, make them not only more sensible overall purchases for many, but more exciting ones as well.<br><br>While Mojang may in fact be too busy at the moment to make that a reality, let’s be very clear about something. If Nintendo had really wanted Minecraft on the Wii U, it would be in the works or out already. That’s not to say it would be easy to make happen, but ultimately they are the kind of company that can make something like that a reality if they really wanted to.<br><br> <br>There is a way to make a semi-automatic farm that shakes the beans off when they are grown, they can then be collected manually. That, or gamers could create a rail system, using a Hopper Minecart to collect the Cocoa Beans. There are a few different designs out there, Triloms on YouTube has a simple design which is a method of instantly growing the beans with Bonemeal and pushing them out automatically using a Piston and Observer met<br>
