Another potential connection is she may be Godfrey’s mysterious Elden Ring warrior daughter born before or after his marriage to Queen Marika. Nepheli could also be distantly related to him, like a granddaughter or great-granddaughter. The relationship between Nepheli and Godfrey at this moment isn’t entirely known, but perhaps the unconfirmed Barbarians of the Badlands DLC could further explain their relationship. There was a third, unnamed Eternal City that was destroyed by Astel, Naturalborn of the Void, as mentioned in a boss’ remembrance, discussed by Reddit user Canor_jax . It may also be a reference to the long lives of the Numen. However, it could also indicate that she is of the Eternal City. The 1.06 update, Soulslike Combat Innovation however, added a new NPC character players can invade in offline mode (his invasion sign can be found near the Writheblood Ruins in Altus Plateau). After defeating Magnus the Beast Claw, a Tarnished who wields a massive Great Stars mace and uses Bestial Incantations, Varré’s quest dialogue will progress as if the player had performed their requisite set of PvP duels/invasions in Elden Ring .
