Гость
Fans of The Legend of Zelda ** have yet to figure out exactly why the title of the upcoming Tears of the Kingdom ** was kept secret for its alleged spoiler potential, but the name may actually be a hint about Zelda’s hidden power. The fate of Hyrule was set into motion by the Goddess Hylia long before the events of Breath of the Wild , and TOTK ’s title could be an indication that the Goddess’ namesake kingdom will soon see her return. While Princess Zelda struggled to awaken her sacred sealing power during the battle against Calamity Ganon, BOTW ’s upcoming sequel may yet reveal the full extent of her hidden potent

The story of The Legend of Zelda begins long before the events of Skyward Sword , which serves as a prequel to the entire Zelda series. This ancient time was known as the Era of the Goddess Hylia, during which an ancient battle against the demon Demise took place. Hylia nearly fell to Demise and, as such, chose to give up her divinity and be reincarnated as a mortal. While she lost her sacred power, her mortality granted her the ability to wield the Triforce against Demise and seal him away, thus saving her king

Tears of the Kingdom’s release date is still months away, but players have plenty of side quests in Breath of the Wild to spend time on until then. Nintendo’s silence on TOTK and the trailers that don’t reveal much information have led to players forming theories about what the next adventure in Hyrule might feature. Since the rumors rely heavily on speculation, it’s possible that none of them will end up being true. However, it seems likely that there will be, at the very least, a connection to Skyward Sword in **The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

These connections may seem arbitrary to analyze, but Tears of the Kingdom’s title may follow a similar pattern if its story does focus on Zelda. Zelda’s Triforce of Wisdom associates her with Nayru’s element of water, which would draw a parallel between «tears» and «breath» in the games’ two titles. As the last surviving member of the royal family, Zelda can be considered the representative of her kingdom, so it makes sense to assume that » Tears of the Kingdom » may refer to her tragic story. However, while piecing these parallels together may not feel like much of a spoiler on the surface, the implications that lie deeper within Next-gen zelda game’s timeline reveal a major potential plot line in BOTW’s upcoming seq

While Breath of the Wild ’s title seems to warrant no further analysis, its parallels to the title of Tears of the Kingdom may reveal more about the sequel’s plot than initially meets the eye. BOTW ‘s story was told primarily through Link’s recovered memories, allowing the Hero to rediscover his role of protecting Hyrule from Ganon’s malice after his 100-year slumber. Considering that Link bears the Triforce of Courage associated with the Wind Goddess Farore, it makes sense to associate him with «breath» in the game’s title. In a similar vein, Link serves as a literal link between the player and Hyrule throughout the franchise, allowing them to explore the «wild» through his character. As such, Breath of the Wild becomes an incredibly fitting title as much of the game revolves around simply allowing players to explore Hyrule as the Link of BOTW ‘s e

The Dark World is a realm of evil created by Ganon’s corruption of the Sacred Realm in The Legend of Zelda series. While the Sacred Realm itself may return in TOTK , it’s possible that the twisted Dark World may make an appearance, too. Ganon’s malice is shown to corrupt most of Hyrule in BOTW, making it possible for it to extend into the game’s iteration of the Sacred Realm as w

Traditional Zelda dungeons in Tears of the Kingdom would address one of the criticisms of Breath of the Wild , where the puzzles being spread out and the presence of the Divine Beasts left some players missing the dungeons from previous Zelda games. Dungeons generally have Link complete them so that he obtains a reward at the end that helps him with his quest to save Hyrule, like awakening the Sages in Ocarina of Time and collecting their medallions. The image of seven tears in the TOTK trailer could imply that Link will be heading into more traditional Zelda dungeons to gather those te

When the Goddess was reincarnated as Zelda in Skyward Sword , she cleansed herself in two sacred springs to recover her divine memories and power. Notably, the Skyview Spring and Earth Spring tucked away in the Faron and Eldin regions have been theorized to be BOTW ’s Spring of Courage and Spring of Power, respectively. Instead of a Spring of Wisdom to complete the «Triforce,» however, Skyward Sword’s Lanayru Desert housed the Temple of Time instead, which allowed Zelda and Impa to pass back in time to the Era of the Goddess so Zelda could recall her divin

The mysterious Zonai tribe is said to have vanished from Hyrule in an ancient time, but details regarding who they were and where they went are unknown. It’s possible that the Zonai tribe was the very same group of interlopers who once attempted to wield their magic over the Sacred Realm to bend it to their will, causing them to be imprisoned in the Twilight Realm. If the Zonai and the Twili truly are connected, then it stands to reason that the Twilight Realm will make another appearance as Tears of the Kingdom explores the mysteries of this ancient tr
