Гость
One possibility for Tears of the Kingdom ‘s meaning is that Zelda, the princess of Hyrule, will die. After the events of the first game, Zelda presumably is hard at work rebuilding BOTW ‘s ruin of Hyrule, helping the people who inhabit it as she wished to in the game’s final cutscene. As such, it stands to reason that she would be beloved throughout the land. Tears of the Kingdom could refer to Hyrule mourning her after her death. Since Zelda falls into a crevice in the E3 2021 trailer and has not appeared in any footage outside the cave where she and Link find the withered mummy, this is a terrifyingly real possibil

The Hyoi Pear’s use and effect were simple. Link would place the pear on his head, and a seagull would swoop down and eat it. From there, the player would be able to control the seagull until it either took damage, or the player willingly gave up control. While the idea sunds about as silly as Wind Waker ‘s Link playing a theremin , it was quite useful, as the seagull could find treasures and even solve some puzzles. It was an odd item, but one that could have plenty of potential for a second appearance. After Breath of the Wild required Link to survive in post-calamity Hyrule, being able to recruit the local wildlife for help in Tears of the Kindgom could be a good next s

Link has always collected items to use over the course of his adventures in the Legend of Zelda games. Most of the time, their primary use is to help him solve puzzles and complete tasks that he couldn’t before. In fact, many of the series’ dungeons revolve around items that the player finds inside of or immediately before them. With Tears of the Kingdom possibly conforming dungeons , it seems likely that old tradition could make a return as well. With the addition of some classic items aside from the old standbys, it could make Tears of the Kingdom an exhilarating experie

The official name for Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom _ , the sequel to _Breath of the Wild , has finally been revealed, and it’s opened up a number of questions about what it means for the story. » Tears of the Kingdom » sounds rather ominous, and has some worrying implications for Link, Zelda, and indeed all of Hyrule. Along with the official title, the BOTW sequel’s release date confirmed via trailer to be May 12 of next year, so it may be some time before players see exactly what TOTK ‘s story holds, but more trailers released in the interim will hopefully help shed some light on

Fans were quick to note that the trailers released for Tears of the Kingdom thus far have featured some notable Twili imagery, suggesting a strong possibility of this Realm’s relevance in the upcoming game. In particular, the snake and Ouroboros images that appear in TOTK’ s trailers are extremely similar to the snake ornaments that decorated the throne room of the Palace of Twilight. These snakelike carvings and hieroglyphs notably appear in the Zonai Ruins in BOTW as well, sparking plenty of theories about connections between the

The ball and chain is first discovered in Twilight Princess ‘ Snowpeak Ruins in the hands of a mini-boss. Once collected, Twilight Princess ‘ suddenly right-handed Link could use it as a tool to smash obstacles, as well as a weapon against enemies. The ball and chain’s great weight gave it a lot of power, dealing heavy damage to enemies with its swings. However, it also weighed Link down, making him move considerably slower compared to when he wields his sword. Its size also enabled him to use it as a shield, Majora’s Mask location making it something of a multipurpose tool in his arsenal. Although not as efficient as the sword in combat, the ball and chain can hold its

One theory dives deeper into the possibilities of returning to Skyloft and what Link may find there, suggesting that it could have been used as a place of refuge for the Zonai. Between the ruins found in Breath of the Wild and the images in the trailer for Tears of the Kingdom , the Zonai and Hyrule seem to have had an unpleasant past. Since Link is shown in the trailer riding a flying device, this theory suggests that the Zonai were not wiped out, and they instead moved to the skies to inhabit Skyloft, giving Link more reasons to head to the skies in TO

The Hyoi Pear would be an eclectic addition to Link’s collection of tools in Tears of the Kingdom , and one that could be plenty of fun at that. Solving a difficult puzzle or defusing a villain’s trap by sending a bird to fly to the solution would be a delightfully amusing option to include. Hyoi Pears have not been used in over a decade, but Tears of the Kingdom could let players have birds help Link once more. Since BOTW ‘s Link outfit already resembled Wind Waker ‘s pajamas , bringing back one of Wind Waker ‘s most unusual items as well couldn’t h

Since Breath of the Wild is said to take place at the very end of the Zelda timeline, it stands to reason that its sequel may reincorporate past plots, characters, and locations to resolve various aspects of the series narrative. Fans have been quick to note the references to games like Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword already present in both BOTW and the three TOTK trailers released so far. As such, it’s possible that the fate set in motion by the events of TOTK’s predecessors may lead to a reappearance of Zelda’s most important magical realms in the upcoming g
