This mystery glue is just one of many similar elements that we see in the trai

So why not combine the torch with another fire-based weapon with a little more damage-dealing capability? The Meteor Rod, an upgrade to the Fire Rod, allows you to blast three small fireballs forward with every swing. Give this already-glowing fire weapon the ability to be held idly to light your path while retaining its flame orb functions, and both of these weapons would see their respective strengths impro

Tears of the Kingdom flooding Hyrule and leading to The Wind Waker would be an interesting twist, but that’s not the only direction that it could go. In fact, there is already at least one contradiction between the two games. Not only did the King of Hyrule have different names in both Breath of the Wild and The Wind Waker , but BOTW ‘s king was already dead long before that game, much less TOTK , while Wind Waker ‘s king was there at Hyrule’s end. The Kings of The Legend of Zelda ‘s Hyrule are not the only difference, but they are one of the most promin

While the ancient weapons are some of Breath of the Wild’s most appealing, fusing the Ancient Short Sword with an elemental weapon like the Thunderblade could give the sword even more of an edge. Aesthetically, this would make for a fascinating combination while also infusing a popular sword with electric abilities during bat

Nintendo has unveiled a gameplay trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom , the highly anticipated sequel to the beloved Switch launch title, Breath of the Wild . The trailer, clocking in at just over two minutes, gives us our best look yet at the new monsters, locations, and gameplay elements present in this direct seq

Homing arrows aren’t something we’ve seen Link use before, and it’s worth noting that the glow that precedes his shot is similar to the one often emanating from his strange new arm. Could the powers granted to him by this arm be applied to various weapons you collect in the g

It’s possible that the ships seen in the Tears of the Kingdom leaks could be innocuous parts of the game. However, it would be much more exciting if they were a hint toward a major twist that significantly changed the game. Although it may sound outrageous, it’s possible that _Tears of the Kingdom _ could see the next great flood of Hyr

Recall, perhaps one of the more straightforward abilities, seems to function similarly to BOTW ‘s Stasis — but, instead of freezing objects, it sends them back through time, which might lend credence to certain Tears of the Kingdom time travel theories . In the showcase, the ability is used to ride a rock that fell from the sky back up to access a sky island, meaning that it has interesting applications for exploration — although it’s currently unknown if it can be used as freely as Stasis. For the time being, the ability seems like a way to get to sky islands in the early game, although which islands it can allow access to seems somewhat limi

The first Legend of Zelda game to feature sailing as a prominent mechanic was The Wind Waker , and the similarities between its story and the possibility of TOTK ‘s Hyrule being flooded are difficult to ignore. It’s possible that the stories of the two games could be tied together as much as Tears of the Kingdom is with Breath of the Wild . While more information would be needed in order to confirm this, a clear line could be drawn connecting the two if a flood ends up being vital to the upcoming title’s p

The ability can also be used on shields and arrows, with the demonstration showing off a mushroom-fused shield, creating an obscuring cloud of smoke when hit, as well as two types of arrows: those fused with White Chuchu Jelly, creating a freezing cloud when fired, and Keese Eyeball-fused homing arrows that track down enemies. Unlike when Link was shown fusing melee weapons however, using Fuse for arrows seemed to pull materials directly from the player’s inventory, with a small menu of selectable options popping up — although it seems likely that the ability could be used either way for weapons, shields, and arr

Breath of the Wild not only introduced an open world map, In-game harley-davidson it also gave players the chance to be creative in the way they approached the game. Now, Tears of the Kingdom is showing that players will be able to get even more creative with Link’s new abilities, one of which lets him combine any two items for a staggering number of possible combinations. While combinations with arrows already have a lot of potential, this is only the beginning of what Fuse could do in _The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Is Hyrule getting European medieval-style dragons now? If so, does this mean that Link can get snatched into the sky at any time? Are beloved horse companions subject to this overhead threat too? Guess only time will tell.
