Гость
Bardic Inspiration: As the Class’s most unique feature, Bardic Inspiration is a massive buff that Bards can give their allies, allowing them to add extra dice to any d20-based roll. This value increases as Bards level up.

Hexblade Warlocks make a pact with a mysterious entity from the Shadowfell , manifesting as sentient magical weapons forged from shadow. Picking this subclass at level 1 will give you the ability «Hexed Warrior», which grants proficiency in medium armor, shields, and martial weapons. Using «Bind Hexed Weapon» on a weapon of their choice, they can use their Charisma Modifier instead of their Strength or Dexterity when attacking with that weapon, as long as they’re proficient. A Hexed Weapon also has a chance of inflicting the Hexblade’s Curse on any creature it strikes.

Updated on April 24th, 2025, by Thomas Hawkins: With the release of Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 8 Subclasses Gate 3 Path 8, every class has gained access to a new subclass. In the Ranger’s case, they can now select Swarmkeeper, commanding swarms of fey spirits in the shape of various creatures to aid them in battle. From legions of Bees, to Clouds of Jellyfish, to Flurries of Moths, the Swarmkeeper excels at using their swarm of choice to damage and weaken their foes. This guide has been updated to explain the Swarmkeeper subclass and provide advice on equipment and multiclassing combos that perform especially well with their abilities.

Armour of Agility (17 AC + DEX, Medium Armour, Very Rare): Securing this armor with its full DEX Mod bonus can give a much-needed defensive boost to Bards against the tougher foes of Act 3. Not to mention, its +2 Saves and lack of Stealth Disadvantage can help Bards have a fighting chance against stronger casters.

A good alternative to the Half-Orc is the Githyanki, which gain Githyanki Psyonics to further enhance their ability to control the battlefield (and jump around from enemy to enemy as if on a trampoline).

Updated April 6, 2025 by Erik Petrovich : Patch 8 for Baldur’s Gate 3 is right around the corner, and though lots of the new subclasses seem like a lot of fun to play, the base game still offers some very powerful options for the best Fighter build in BG3. The Battle Master Fighter is still the best Fighter build in BG3 – but that could change with the release of Patch 8. Until then, stick with this Battle Master Fighter guide to learn the best Fighter build tips, what makes the Battle Master such a powerful subclass for the Fighter, and other information that will help you min-max your Fighter character. This Fighter build guide has been updated to add in-game flavor descriptions of the class and subclass, as well as a new small section with the best consumables for the Fighter, including both potions and elixirs, in the Equipment section.
Subclass — College of Valor: Serving as the combat-based specialization of the Bards, the College of Valor gives Bards access to more offensive-leaning abilities that enable them to become frontline attackers.

Spore Druids can make excellent use of any staff that has added damage, such as the Gold Wyrmling Staff (Act 1, Sold by Roah Moonglow at the Goblin Camp) or the Cacophony Staff (Act 1, Sold by Lady Esther at the Rosymorn Monastery Trail) since the bonus damage will stack with the necrotic damage from Symbiotic Entity. When paired with the Shillelagh spell these staves can dish out a surprising amount of damage while scaling entirely off the Druid’s Wisdom. This can be further boosted using the Polearm Master Feat.

Duellist’s Prerogative (1d8+8 Piercing +2 Piercing +1d4 Necrotic, Rapier, Very Rare): This Longsword is perhaps one of the best weapons for a Bard specifically for its damage output potential. Its Elegant Duellist effect now allows Crits at 19 on top of a bonus Reaction, which can be used in tandem with its Withering Cut to inflict (Proficiency Bonus) Necrotic Damage on a melee weapon attack. Using this with a College of Swords Dual Wielder Bard can catapult the character into main DPS territory.
Other Weapon, Item Support: Unfortunately, the Ranger isn’t extremely optimized as a Class due to its multi-attribute dependency. Players should rely on Items such as Oils of Accuracy in order to boost their overall Attack Rolls and Damage Dice.

Slippery Chain Shirt (13 AC + DEX, Medium Armour, Uncommon): This medium Armour in the Festering Cove (Act One) is one of the best first pieces of gear to acquire with the moderately armed feat. Its auto-disengage on a heal incentivizes sub-support builds for Bards, allowing them to heal from the frontlines without the risk of becoming targets.

Updated on 20th April 2025, by Thomas Hawkins: With the addition of Patch 8’s new subclasses to Baldur’s Gate 3, players can select the Circle of the Stars for their Druids. This new subclass makes use of their Wildshape Charges to embody constellations and gain powerful new abilities, including firing blasts of light, healing a target for free after casting a spell, and unleashing a radiant breath attack. This guide has been updated to include information on this new subclass and discuss equipment and multiclassing options that benefit the Circle of the Stars.
